Bottom line web design
Launching a new baby store isn’t just about building a business, it’s a labour of love. When the owner of Tiny You Baby Store came to us, she had her logo and two objectives:
- the website brand should be complete in December (about 2 months) to meet the holiday rush
- Proper SEO was imperative to reach the top pages of Google
As an online baby store, Katelyn envisioned a beautiful shopping space. From Kids Clara to Bamboo Bebe, the products carried on Tiny You already boasted an incredible following in Asia. But many would be appearing in Canada for the first time. Since these were luxury goods, explaining the pedigree of the labels was imperative.
We decided to give each brand its own look and colour scheme. Items would be categorized by label as well as other factors. To meet the aggressive timeline, we had our web designers, writers and SEO consultants in Vancouver collaborate directly.
Design determines a lot of factors that directly impact Search Engine Optimization. Load times, mobile compatibility, the use of headers and flow of content–dozens of factors come together to determine if a website will eventually reach page one. By assessing the needs of the brand, shoppers, and search engines, we were able to create a beautiful, powerful eCommerce website that prominently ranked for relevant keywords.
In a little over two months, we completed the project. From and functionality culminated in a stunning eCommerce experience that made it easy for consumers and businesses to shop online. Features included a secure check-out, client login area, and tons of fun little bells and whistles.
As a final touch, our SEO consultants in Vancouver populated the store with engaging product descriptions that worked to boost website rankings. In about two weeks, Tiny You began appearing on page six of Google for most keywords. With the support of a concentrated social campaign and consistent linking and blogging, the site now enjoys a page-one ranking for most key terms.
