Toronto business consultant Leslie Barker wanted a team of SEO Consultants to collaborate on her new brand. As a company that provides web design, branding, and SEO Consulting, INKYKISS fit the bill.

Leslie consults with leading brands across North America. As a lean specialist, she leverages systems like Kaizen and Six Sigma to address complex business problems. Leslie has 20 years’ experience streamlining complex manufacturing processes and fixing problems related to supply and management. Her objective was to create a  website that showcased an impressive client portfolio while ranking for relevant keywords.

In designing the logo, we channeled the idea of growth. A stylized “E” became the basis of the design. We wanted a visual representation of overcoming hurdles and achieving growth.  Orange became our go-to colour choice. Softer than red, but equally noticeable, orange represents enthusiasm, happiness, creativity, determination, attraction, success, encouragement, and stimulation. In heraldry, orange is symbolic of strength and determination

We designed the business consulting website around  Leslie’s 4 core specialties—hoshin kanri (policy deployment), executive coaching, CX consulting, and kaizen (design thinking). Our SEO consultants ensured each service page was optimized with strategic keywords and carefully written to communicate key benefits.

Within a month, Leslie’s site ranked within the top six pages for her key search terms. As SEO consultants in Vancouver, we continue to assist with ongoing SEO strategy and backlinking to keep pushing the site up for relevant keywords. Today, Lean Expansion sits on page one for many key terms, making it easily accessible to professionals looking for services related to business consulting.

A Strategic Approach

Designing for SEO was complicated as Leslie’s market is not localized, she goes where her clients needs her, visiting factories and business across North America. Optimizing this website required carefully researching which keywords potential clients would be using. By strategically integrating these keywords into written content, we successfully created a website that ranked within the top 10 pages of Google. It took about 3 months before we saw a noticeable difference, but gradually we saw more clients visiting Lean Expansion and clicking through the website. As SEO Consultants, we continue to provide advice to keep Leslie’s site visible and competitive on Google.
