As Canada’s exclusive distributor of Lacanche ranges, The French Barn needed ad copy for a one-page layout. The objective was a lifestyle piece for Vancouver’s Edibles Magazine. Therefore, the ad copy had to invoke the joy of working with these premium cookers, which so elegantly fuse beauty and technology into the ideal kitchen centrepiece. The layout roughly consisted of a tag, a succinct paragraph, and a call to action. We worked hand in hand with the designer in order to come up with several ideas. With a little mixing and matching, the client was totally satisfied. The project was complete in two passes. This meant the client had more time to focus on the design–and, of course, running their business!
